be used on our online booking form.

*How many colleges will we go into?
All tours visit 2-4 colleges, depending on opening times and the time of the
tour.  The most famous colleges we visit have longer opening hours
and more colleges are open after 1pm. Since Colleges function first
and foremost for their students, they're subject to closure at any time
and without advance notice.  Our experienced guides however are able
to find suitable, alternative colleges immediately.

*Does the tour go into Christ Church College?
We do not visit Christ Church College on our tours as they charge
£8.00 for admission and often the dining hall or parts of the college are
     closed to visitors.

*Which are the Harry Potter colleges, where parts of the movies were filmed?
Locations in Oxford were used for scenes in the Harry Potter films, but
there are no 'movie sets' here in Oxford.  The New College cloisters were
used to film the scene in The Goblet of Fire , where Malfoy was turned into
a ferret.  The Divinity School of the Bodleian library was also a location,
most notably as the hospital in the Philosopher's Stone. Contrary
to popular belief, Christ Church College dining hall was not used for filming
any of the Harry Potter movies.  The only film location ever used at Christ
Church was the staircase leading up to the dining hall.

*Do tours run even if it's raining?
Tours run in rain or shine.  In the event of a heavy shower, we're able
to shelter in the chapels and dining halls of the colleges we're visiting.
In the rare case of heavy snow or ice, colleges may close to visitors for
safety reasons, therefore tours may be cancelled.
